About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Shape the strategic roadmap for Employee Benefits technology capabilities and business solutions
Establish business outcomes, success measures, KPIs, and adoption targets
Lead prioritization of enhancements, defects, and new capabilities
Provide business direction for technology delivery plans
Lead operational readiness planning, including process changes, training, communications, support impacts, and adoption risks
Partner with IT Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, development teams, and operations stakeholders on requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities
Represent the business in sprint planning, release planning, prioritization, and backlog management
Partner with marketing and sales enablement teams on release communication plans
Monitor delivery progress, readiness, adoption, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
Oversee business testing strategies and UAT, including resource coordination, defect management, and final business sign-off
Partner with QA teams to validate requirements and release readiness
Support release readiness reviews, implementation decisions, production deployments, and post-production stabilization
Drive post-implementation adoption activities, hypercare, readiness checkpoints, user enablement, issue triage, feedback collection, and ongoing business support
Serve as a trusted advisor and senior product delivery partner
Lead communication across product, operations, compliance, technology, and business stakeholders
Present roadmap priorities, delivery updates, risks, decisions, and outcomes to leadership
Build cross-functional partnerships that enable strategic execution and measurable business outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of product delivery, product management, business analysis, or digital product leadership experience
Hands-on FINEOS experience required
Experience with digital portal capabilities, customer-facing applications, self-service platforms, reporting capabilities, or analytics solutions
Experience operating in Agile and Scrum delivery environments as a business partner, product representative, or business product owner
Strong understanding of SDLC, release management, and testing methodologies from a business delivery and stakeholder readiness perspective
Demonstrated experience leading operational readiness, change adoption, training coordination, stakeholder communications, hypercare, and post-launch stabilization for business solutions
Experience within Employee Benefits, Disability, Absence, Leave Management, Life, and/or Supplemental Health
Experience partnering with IT Product Owners and cross-functional technology teams while representing business priorities and operational needs
Knowledge of reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects, or similar tools
Experience supporting digital transformation, modernization, and business capability improvement initiatives
Knowledge of accessibility, usability, and digital experience best practices
