About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own portfolio management of 3–5 concurrent data center construction sites
Drive landlord shell acceptance through tenant fit-out, including busway, RPP, racks, liquid loop and CDU integration, on schedule and budget
Serve as the escalation point for schedule, cost, and quality risk across sites
Partner with the Project Controls Manager on program-level tracking
Coordinate with the Construction EHS Manager on safety program execution at each site
Interface with Design Engineering and Commissioning to enforce BOD and drawing approval before construction proceeds
Manage the transition into Startup and Turnover toward commissioning and integrated systems testing
Represent construction’s interests in landlord/lease delivery terms, acceptance criteria, commencement definitions, and schedule commitments
Report portfolio status, risk, and resourcing needs to the Director, Construction Delivery
Travel 50% across a multi-state portfolio

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial construction management, including multi-site or regional oversight
Experience managing landlord-delivered shell space and tenant improvement scopes
Working fluency in MEP systems, commissioning sequencing, and fit-out trades specific to high-density compute (busway/RPP distribution, liquid cooling/CDU integration)
Track record managing GC and trade partner performance across concurrent, geographically distributed job sites
Strong command of schedule and cost tracking tools and practices; comfortable operating without a fully built-out project controls function
Ability to travel frequently across a multi-state portfolio
Owner’s-representative or hyperscaler/neocloud tenant-side construction experience preferred
