About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as Vultr's owner's representative on a live data center construction site
  • Conduct daily site walks and verify progress against the build schedule
  • Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings; escalate when landlord/GC response lags
  • Track punch-list items and support acceptance and turnover decisions
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day coordination point with the landlord and GC on a landlord-controlled site
  • Monitor safety compliance and escalate incidents
  • Maintain photo and log documentation and pay-application support
  • Protect schedule, safety, and acceptance quality through rigorous documentation and escalation judgment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mission-critical or large commercial construction, in a field or owner's-representative role
  • Comfortable reading MEP and architectural drawings and specifications
  • OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training
  • Able to operate independently on a site the company does not control
  • Prior experience working with hyperscaler clients (AWS, Google, Meta, Microsoft) or on colocation build-to-suit programs preferred
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
  • Experience with RFI/RFP tracking and change-order documentation on projects valued at $10M+ preferred
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
