About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and recurring analyses, including monthly variance analysis and KPI tracking
  • Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast updates
  • Analyze actual results against budget/forecast and identify and explain key variance drivers
  • Partner with department leaders to understand financial needs and provide accurate, timely data and insights
  • Maintain and improve Excel/Google Sheets-based models and reporting templates
  • Assist with month-end close support and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data accuracy
  • Collaborate with the finance team and business partners across departments
  • Support financial decision-making across Vynca, a healthcare organization providing comprehensive care for individuals with complex needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 0–1 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and basic modeling
  • Strong attention to detail and a disciplined, methodical approach to financial data
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues
  • Curious, proactive mindset and willingness to ask questions
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Background check required prior to employment
  • Willingness to meet on-site in Denver, CO when needed
  • Influenza vaccination required for patient-, client-, or customer-facing roles
  • Preferred: prior finance/accounting internship
  • Preferred: healthcare or health tech exposure
