Key responsibilities & impact
  • Communicate verbally and/or in writing with individuals or groups, including customers, suppliers, and associates
  • Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads
  • Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures
  • Monitor associate compliance with policies and procedures and maintain supporting documentation
  • Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns and determine corrective actions or recommendations
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, coaching, and evaluating performance
  • Participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders
  • Build high-performing, inclusive teams and foster a culture of belonging
  • Build strong relationships and communicate with impact and positivity
  • Attract, retain, empower, and develop talent and recognize contributions
  • Maintain and promote integrity, ethics, compliance, and Walmart values

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year's supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 1 year's Walmart Logistics Management experience OR 2 years' Walmart Logistics experience OR 2 years' supervisory experience
  • Must attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments
  • Preferred: Microsoft Office
  • Preferred: Supervising Associates
  • Preferred: Walmart Logistics Systems
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Logistics
