About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support merchants in supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories
  • Assist in resolving supplier issues and facilitate new supplier setups for stores and online channels
  • Execute customer communication and education programs with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure product page content accuracy and quality according to taxonomy and search guidelines
  • Analyze category performance data for budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting
  • Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across channels
  • Collaborate with planners and analysts to align financial plans and inventory purchases
  • Support category management, supplier relationships, purchasing, pricing, promotional activities, and customer experience across stores and online channels

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
  • Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales, business, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in category strategy development and product assortment planning
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and supplier issue resolution
  • Knowledge of e-commerce management and purchasing processes
  • Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting
  • Commitment to company policies and ethical standards
  • Microsoft Office, negotiating with third-party suppliers, pricing, site merchandising, planning or inventory, or related area (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Merchandising (preferred)
