About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support for supplier negotiations
  • Manage purchase orders within assigned categories
  • Assist merchants in resolving supplier issues
  • Facilitate setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels
  • Execute customer communication and education programs
  • Ensure accuracy of product page content and adherence to taxonomy guidelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on category features, modular assortment implementation, and promotions
  • Generate reports and track category performance using data analysis tools
  • Support budgeting and forecasting
  • Support item setup decisions and sample management for imagery and product configuration
  • Maintain supplier relationships and implement category strategies
  • Support store and online activities to enhance customer experience and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree OR 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
  • Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations
  • Strong skills in category strategy development and execution
  • Ability to manage purchase orders and resolve supplier issues
  • Proficiency in data analysis for forecasting and budgeting
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally
  • Aptitude for leveraging digital tools for item setup, pricing, and promotional strategies
  • Commitment to compliance with company policies and ethical standards
  • Preferred: Microsoft Office; negotiating with third-party suppliers; pricing; site merchandising; planning or inventory, or related area
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s in Business or Merchandising
