About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide administrative support for supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders within assigned categories
Assist merchants in resolving supplier issues and facilitate setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels
Execute customer communication and education programs with cross-functional teams
Ensure accuracy of product content
Analyze category performance data for budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting
Develop and implement approved promotional features and modular assortment strategies
Support item setup, pricing recommendations, and sample management
Build stakeholder partnerships to drive business solutions and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree OR 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data analysis tools
Knowledge of category strategy development and execution
Ability to manage purchase orders and resolve supplier issues
Effective cross-functional collaboration skills
Commitment to integrity, ethics, and compliance
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and promotional activities
Preferred: Microsoft Office
Preferred: Negotiating with third-party suppliers
Preferred: Pricing, site merchandising, planning or inventory, or related area
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Merchandising
