Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support merchants in supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories
  • Assist with supplier issue resolution and new supplier setups for stores and online channels
  • Execute customer communication and education programs
  • Ensure accurate product page content and manage search queries
  • Collaborate on category features, modular layouts, and promotional strategies
  • Analyze sales and category performance data for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Guide suppliers in developing customer-focused processes and products
  • Drive continuous improvement through data insights and technology adoption
  • Support category strategy, product assortment, customer engagement, and operational excellence across stores and online channels

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
  • Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within retail or e-commerce environments
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data analysis and visualization tools
  • Expertise in category strategy, product assortment, and modular merchandising principles
  • Effective cross-functional communication skills
  • Ability to manage purchase orders, support item setup, and maintain pricing and promotional activities
  • Capability in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking category financial performance
  • Commitment to company policies, ethics, and customer-focused solutions
  • Microsoft Office, negotiating with third-party suppliers, pricing, site merchandising, planning or inventory, or related area are preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Merchandising is preferred
