About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support merchants in supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories
  • Assist in resolving supplier issues and facilitate new supplier setups for stores and online channels
  • Execute customer communication and education programs with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of product page content in accordance with taxonomy and search guidelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree OR 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
  • Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within retail or related sectors
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data analysis tools
  • Proficiency in managing purchase orders, item setup, and category administration
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supplier issues and support merchandising and promotional activities
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking
  • Effective communication skills
