About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories and subcategories
  • Assist merchants in resolving supplier issues and setting up new suppliers for stores and online channels
  • Execute customer communication and education programs with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of product page content
  • Manage search query rules for assigned categories
  • Track category financial performance, support forecasting, and contribute to budgeting
  • Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across channels
  • Leverage data analysis tools to generate insights and support decision-making
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal partners
  • Support category management and merchandising for Household Essentials, including assortment, pricing, promotions, and inventory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
  • Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within a retail or e-commerce environment
  • Strong skills in category strategy development and execution
  • Proficiency in data analysis and business analysis
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional and external collaboration
  • Ability to manage purchase orders, resolve supplier issues, and support item setup for stores and online channels
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking category financial performance
  • Preferred: Microsoft Office, negotiating with third-party suppliers, pricing, site merchandising, planning or inventory, or related area
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Merchandising is preferred
