Key responsibilities & impact

Support release validation, cross-product testing, and data quality assurance activities
Identify and analyze data discrepancies before deployment to prevent business-impacting issues
Validate business-critical metrics and investigate defects to ensure product quality and reliability
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to translate findings into actionable solutions
Drive issue resolution across cross-functional teams
Leverage data analysis, automation, and agentic AI tools to improve testing efficiency and accelerate delivery
Contribute to data integrity, system resilience, data governance, and automated testing solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or related field; OR 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
Experience with software testing, release validation, and test automation using Playwright
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms such as BigQuery
Ability to analyze data, identify defects, and validate business-critical metrics
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to translate technical issues into actionable solutions
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Passion for automation, AI-driven tools, and continuous improvement
Ability to work in a drug-free workplace and comply with Walmart's no-tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
