About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategy and execution of high-priority transformation initiatives
- Translate opportunities into operating models and solutions spanning people, process, technology, inventory, and physical assets
- Analyze business objectives, member and associate needs, and operational constraints
- Identify opportunities to improve experience, growth, speed, and cost
- Design and execute test-and-learn pilots
- Generate insights and inform investment decisions
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through testing and scale
- Partner across Operations, Supply Chain, eCommerce, Merchandising, Product, Technology, Real Estate, and Finance
- Communicate strategies, progress, results, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

- Create clarity, share expertise, and coach others across cross-functional initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 6 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 8 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area
- 2 years’ supervisory experience
- Proven experience leading large-scale transformation, business strategy, operating model development, or complex operational initiatives
- Ability to take ambiguous business problems and create a structured path forward
- Strong business and operational acumen
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills
- Experience developing business cases, interpreting data and models, establishing KPIs, and translating insights into actionable recommendations
- Exceptional communication and executive presence
- Ability to simplify complexity, articulate trade-offs, and influence senior leaders
- High ownership and bias for action
- Ability to quickly identify barriers, drive decisions, and deliver measurable business impact
