Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Spark Platform Control compliance across global markets
  • Lead and prioritize global efforts, directing Senior Managers and Managers across markets
  • Establish and maintain Driver's Earnings and Tax Control standards, governance, and control frameworks
  • Oversee control assessments, control design, and audit readiness
  • Ensure compliance and effective risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with technology teams on control implementation and evaluate system changes for regulatory risks
  • Manage audit-request responses and monitor remediation plans for control deficiencies
  • Drive program modernization through automation and standardized tooling
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to control teams
  • Foster collaboration with technology and business partners and support Walmart’s global compliance objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, computer science, or related area
  • 7 years’ experience in public accounting, internal audit, IT audit, or a related industry role supporting SOX and ITGCs
  • Experience with PCAOB standards, SOX compliance, and IT general controls
  • Experience partnering with senior technology and business leaders
  • CPA or CISA certification (preferred)
