About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute category and assortment strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends
  • Lead and manage a high-performing merchandising team, providing guidance, development, and performance oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field and 5 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area; OR 7 years’ experience in those areas
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience
  • Proven expertise in category and assortment strategy development for complex merchandising environments
  • Strong financial management skills, including profit and loss ownership and budget forecasting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and engage high-performing teams with a focus on talent development
  • Experience in supplier negotiations and managing vendor relationships
  • Proficiency in data analytics and digital tools
  • Ability to align channel strategies and execute merchandising initiatives across omni-channel platforms
  • Exceptional business planning and negotiation skills
