About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Store Automation Programs and the Field Reliability team
  • Connect maintenance execution with long-term strategies to improve performance across Walmart’s store automation network
  • Oversee regional field maintenance, automation programs, reliability and supply chain support, and depot operations
  • Set direction, develop leaders, and ensure teams have resources, standards, and support
  • Analyze business objectives and customer needs to develop and implement program management plans
  • Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize, scope, and evaluate enterprise-wide projects
  • Drive continuous improvement by assessing operational processes and implementing best practices
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to define success criteria, manage risks, and communicate program requirements
  • Oversee talent development, mentoring, workforce planning, and succession strategies
  • Foster integrity, accountability, and high performance through coaching and ethical leadership
  • Support maintenance operations, reliability initiatives, spare parts strategy, and warranty recovery for automated storage and retrieval systems
  • Connect field technicians and maintenance leaders with programs, technical support, parts, and vendor processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Legal, or related field and 5 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management or related area OR 7 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area
  • 4 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office
  • 4 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Proven expertise in program management and leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Strong leadership skills in developing talent, mentoring teams, and fostering workforce engagement
  • Strategic planning capabilities
  • Experience driving process improvements and implementing best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and compliance
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics
  • Experience developing training curriculum or content, managing cross-functional teams, managing large-scale change initiatives, retail consulting, and Walmart experience are preferred qualifications
