About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement regional talent management strategies, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning
- Oversee execution of HR policies, programs, and compliance initiatives
- Analyze data to identify trends and address gaps
- Lead change management efforts and align operational initiatives with HR actions
- Support regional leaders through communication and counseling
- Serve as liaison between home office and field functions
- Integrate business strategies with regional operations and monitor performance
- Foster integrity, accountability, continuous learning, and associate engagement
- Build and maintain partnerships supporting business goals and community involvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree in an HR-related field and 5 years of HR Generalist or Specialist experience supporting a multi-unit/multi-business environment; OR 8 years of HR experience including at least 4 years as an HR generalist supporting a multi-unit/multi-business environment; OR 4 years of Wal-Mart Manager-level experience leading an operational unit with responsibility for supervising other salaried managers
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience developing and executing regional talent management strategies aligned with business objectives
- Expertise in organizational leadership, workforce planning, and performance management processes
- Ability to lead change management initiatives and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and human resource policies at regional and legal levels
- Ability to build partnerships with external organizations and internal teams to support talent acquisition and development
- Ability to analyze data, forecast needs, and implement actionable plans
- Preferred: Hospitality or Retail Industry experience
- Preferred: Master’s in Human Resources
- Preferred: PHR or SPHR certification
