About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-powered software systems and intelligent automation solutions
- Translate domain strategies into reliable system-level implementations
- Write production-quality code, build automated tests, and take implementations through production deployment
- Drive operational excellence through technical guidance, code reviews, and architectural decisions
- Champion DevOps and CI/CD practices for resilient, observable, and performant services
- Mentor engineers across teams and foster innovation and continuous learning
- Identify architectural bottlenecks, automate manual processes, and improve developer experience
- Collaborate with Product, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, and engineering teams
- Resolve architectural challenges and promote continuous innovation aligned with enterprise standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- Hands-on coding expertise and current coding practice
- Ability and willingness to own end-to-end implementation from detailed design through production deployment
- Extensive experience designing and developing scalable, cloud-native software systems and AI-powered solutions
- Expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and incident management
- Experience identifying bottlenecks and automating manual processes
- Problem-solving and debugging capabilities focused on platform design and development
- Collaboration and mentorship skills
- Technical judgment and adaptability
- Preferred: Master's degree and 4 years' experience
- Preferred knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
