About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategy, planning, and end-to-end delivery of company-wide, multi-year technical initiatives spanning hundreds of engineers
- Partner with senior engineering leaders to shape technical strategy
- Oversee system design for scalability, high availability, and timely delivery
- Own ambiguous “0 to 1” projects by defining problem spaces, managing critical dependencies, and building roadmaps
- Dismantle organizational silos and deploy scalable workflows to increase company-wide velocity
- Advise the executive team with data-driven insights on program health and strategic risks
- Champion the TPM discipline by mentoring leaders and elevating organizational hiring standards
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Business teams to deliver scalable marketplace solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or architecture, including at least two years at a Principal level
- Deep technical expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML
- Proven track record delivering mission-critical, massive-scale global programs from inception to deployment
- Strong analytical, data-driven problem-solving skills
- Exceptional leadership to drive consensus without authority among technical leaders across multiple VP-level organizations
- Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area
- Option 2: 9 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area
- Certification in Project Management is preferred
- Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies is preferred
