About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of Walmart facilities within a regional area
- Lead a team of technicians
- Ensure buildings operate efficiently and sustainably
- Provide a safe and comfortable environment for associates and customers
- Travel approximately 50% or more within the region
- Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Perform reporting and analytics
- Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses
- Participate in training on regulatory requirements
- Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards
- Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections under applicable mechanical or building codes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed Master Electrician and 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in those areas with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- Master Electrician License or equivalent in the state where the employee will work
- 3–5 years of general facilities services/overall building maintenance experience optimal
- Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience
- Current Idaho Master Electrician License, in good standing
- Maintain Mechanical Contractor Licenses in the state of employment
- EPA Universal Certification
- PMP Certification
- Lean Six Sigma
- Leadership, communication/interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer-service skills
- Experience with root-cause and breakdown analysis
- Approximately 50% or more travel within the region
