About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area
  • Lead a team of technicians
  • Ensure buildings operate efficiently and sustainably and provide a safe, comfortable environment
  • Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
  • Perform reporting and analytics
  • Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses
  • Participate in training programs covering regulatory requirements and scope-of-work performance
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards
  • Obtain necessary permits and schedule inspections as required by mechanical or building codes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Licensed Master Plumber and 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area, OR 3 years’ experience in those areas with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
  • Master Plumber License or equivalent in the state you will be working
  • Current Plumbing Contractor license; Master Plumber
  • Maintain Mechanical Contractor Licenses in state of employment (Indiana)
  • General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3-5 years would be optimal
  • Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% or more within the region
  • Reporting and analytics experience
  • Experience with site inspections, regulatory compliance, permits, and building/mechanical codes
  • Leadership, communication/interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills
