About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead FP&A activities, including month-end close, driver-based forecasting, and budgeting
- Partner with Accounting and business teams to ensure accurate reporting, validate accruals, and analyze expenses
- Own driver-based financial forecasts incorporating actual performance, business trends, risks, and opportunities
- Analyze actuals versus forecast and budget and translate variances into actionable business insights
- Develop financial models, management reporting, and executive presentations
- Report financial performance, outlook, risks, and recommendations to leadership
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities and drive effective resource allocation
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, forecast accuracy, and FP&A processes
- Lead and develop associates while ensuring compliance with financial policies and standards
- Collaborate with Marketplace, Merchandising, Operations, Product, and Supply Chain teams to evaluate seller performance, optimize unit economics, and guide strategic investments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, planning, and forecasting
- Strong experience in variance analysis and month-end closing processes
- Ability to develop and maintain complex financial models incorporating assumptions, risks, and expectations
- Effective communication skills to present financial results and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated management capabilities including mentoring, training, and developing associates
- Proficiency in business planning and financial statement analysis
- Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and integrity
- Preferred: experience analyzing data and interpreting results
- Preferred: Microsoft Office proficiency
- Preferred: supervisory experience
- Preferred: Master of Business Administration
