About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead supplier compliance efforts, including certificate of insurance renewals and tracking
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline communications and mitigate supplier agreement risks
  • Oversee implementation and execution of tools for performance enhancement and supplier onboarding
  • Direct negotiation strategies for supplier agreements, including payment terms, claims, and allowances
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and reporting frameworks for negotiation and compliance success
  • Mentor and guide suppliers toward business objectives and continuous process improvement
  • Lead development and execution of supplier growth strategies aligned with Walmart standards
  • Manage a high-performing team and drive continuous improvement in contract execution, compliance tracking, and supplier relationship management
  • Collaborate across business units to deliver scalable solutions supporting enterprise priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, finance, human resources, engineering or related area and 5 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams; or 7 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams in supply chain, business administration, finance, human resources, engineering or related area
  • Extensive experience in supplier management, new or emerging brands, and performance monitoring within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Proven leadership skills to develop, mentor, and manage high-performing teams focused on supplier excellence
  • Strong strategic planning and process improvement capabilities to drive automation and enhance negotiation efficiency
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement across legal, finance, merchandising, sourcing, and claims teams
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to track key performance indicators and measure business outcomes
  • Ability to implement supplier programs aligned with organizational goals and risk management standards
  • Preferred: Inbound Exception processing, Merchandising operations, Store Operations, Supplier and compliance-based fields, Supplier partnerships
