About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Communicate verbally and/or in writing with customers, suppliers, associates, and other individuals or groups
  • Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads
  • Manage daily HR office administrative functions, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll
  • Execute and refine recruiting and staffing initiatives
  • Research and address employment-related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers
  • Ensure compliance with company HR policies and maintain accurate, confidential HR documents
  • Support implementation and compliance with HR systems and applications
  • Gather data for HR-related issues
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures
  • Monitor compliance and maintain procedures and supporting documentation
  • Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns, consulting others and recommending corrective action when needed
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling policies and procedures
  • Identify training and development needs and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates and leaders
  • Build high-performing teams and foster belonging
  • Build strong, trusting relationships and communicate with impact, energy, and positivity
  • Attract, retain, empower, and develop talent
  • Maintain and promote integrity, ethics, compliance, and accountability

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 2 years Walmart Logistics management experience OR 2 years supervisory experience, including 1 year experience managing human resource processes OR 1 year Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience
