About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage guard service patrol and dispatch operations
- Supervise tactical security responses during life safety events and incidents
- Oversee investigations into ethics violations, criminal activity, security breaches, and supplier complaints
- Coordinate responses to senior executive requests
- Manage transportation security for critical information and merchandise
- Lead emergency response efforts and collaborate with internal and external partners, including first responders
- Support and implement safety protocols, training programs, and regulatory compliance within assigned facilities
- Provide expert guidance on security best practices
- Recommend improvements to enhance safety and compliance
- Monitor and respond to critical incidents worldwide through Walmart’s Emergency Operations Center
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Security, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area
- Proven experience managing security operations, including guard patrol and dispatch functions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise tactical security responses during emergencies and incidents
- Expertise in regulatory compliance and implementing corporate security programs
- Ability to develop, execute, and improve security protocols and training programs
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and adherence to company policies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Must comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace and no-tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
