About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of exterior service technicians
Partner with the team to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction
Manage commercial landscape maintenance and exterior building/grounds maintenance
Maintain exterior spaces and foster a safe, clean environment for customers
Facilitate required on-the-job training on processes, equipment usage, and asset safety practices
Perform landscaping tasks such as grass cutting, weed management, planting, pruning, and pest/disease management
Perform irrigation, pressure washing, and exterior building/grounds maintenance
Use technology for work order management and record-keeping
Troubleshoot and prioritize work
Uphold company policies, procedures, ethics, integrity, and safety standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 2 years' experience in the commercial landscaping/exterior building maintenance and leading teams
Proven leadership skills and ability to facilitate on-the-job training on processes, equipment usage, and asset safety practices
Proficiency using phones, tablets, and laptops for work order management and record-keeping
Ability to perform landscaping tasks, including grass cutting and weed management, with or without specialized equipment
Knowledge of planting, pruning techniques, and pest/disease management through chemical applications
Experience in commercial exterior maintenance, including irrigation, pressure washing, and exterior building/grounds maintenance
Strong customer service orientation and ability to troubleshoot and prioritize work
Commitment to company policies, procedures, ethics, integrity, and safety standards
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid state-issued driver's license
Valid state-issued driver's license held for at least 3 years, clean driving record, and ability to pass an MVR report
Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency
Ability to maintain a minimum 90-day Medical Examiner's Certification card
No DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless-driving convictions involving alcohol or drugs within the last 3 years
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years if driving a commercial motor vehicle
No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
No preventable accidents under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
Ability to read and speak English
2 years' experience in the landscaping/gardening industry
