About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver data-driven insights informing strategic business decisions across functional areas
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Develop and implement advanced analytical models and prototypes
- Guide project execution and foster stakeholder relationships
- Partner with senior leaders across Business Strategy, Product, Operations, and Technology
- Translate complex business challenges into analytical frameworks, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations
- Lead analytics initiatives focused on customer experience, fulfillment performance, profitability, availability, and delivery speed
- Design predictive models, forecasting solutions, and optimization frameworks
- Perform deep-dive analyses and root cause investigations
- Develop scalable datasets, dashboards, semantic models, decision-support tools, and AI-enabled solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 2 years' experience in data analytics or related field, OR 4 years' experience in data analytics or related field
- Proven expertise in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision making
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Looker
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end, including risk management and stakeholder collaboration
- Experience building and implementing data models and algorithms
- Excellent collaboration skills for cross-functional work with leadership and external partners
- Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and ethical standards
- Must work in a drug-free workplace and comply with Walmart’s no-tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
