About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Ambient First Mile storage strategy and long-range capacity roadmap
  • Design and evaluate storage densification solutions to increase capacity and asset utilization
  • Develop business cases, seek capital approval, and lead vendor selection for storage capacity investments
  • Create data-driven network storage strategies supporting SKU growth and evolving inventory needs
  • Assess and refine SKU management alternatives to maximize network flexibility and utilization
  • Partner with operations, finance, real estate, and technology teams
  • Use analytics and scenario modeling to identify constraints, prioritize opportunities, and guide investment decisions
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of capacity enhancement initiatives, including concept development, business case creation, vendor selection, capital approval, and implementation handoff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area; OR 4 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area
  • Experience developing network capacity strategies, storage solutions, or supply chain facility designs
  • Strong data analytics and modeling skills
  • Experience developing business cases, performing financial analysis, and securing capital investment approvals
  • Ability to lead complex projects from concept through approval and implementation
  • Knowledge of supply chain network design, inventory management, and SKU storage strategies
  • Experience leading vendor evaluations, solution selection, and cross-functional decision-making processes
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Master's in Computer Engineering preferred
