About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner cross-functionally with Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, and Merchandising on sourcing and procurement strategies
- Execute bid events, e-auctions, cost change analyses, and related analytics
- Deliver complex, high-visibility analytics projects supporting strategic decision-making
- Develop and present executive-ready insights and visual storytelling
- Identify data trends, risks, and opportunities through advanced analysis
- Communicate recommendations to different stakeholder groups using Power BI and AI-enabled dashboards
- Manage multiple projects across categories within scope, quality, and timelines
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency
- Share learnings across the team to strengthen analytical and storytelling capabilities
- Support strategic category recommendations and lead execution of competitive sourcing events
- Promote continuous improvement and uphold company policies and ethical standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in the same areas
- 2+ years’ experience translating data into actionable intelligence
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
- Strong executive communication and influencing skills
- Experience in Coupa CSO
- AI/ML knowledge in a business context
- Experience pulling, manipulating, and interpreting complex datasets
- Progressive experience in management consulting, Sourcing & Procurement, supply chain, or business strategy
- Preferred: Business analysis and reporting, Microsoft Office, Statistical modeling software
- Must comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace and no-tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
