About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define how Walmart Fashion shows up across Men’s, Kids’ & Baby, and Footwear
- Translate seasonal strategy, trend insight, and product priorities into customer-facing storytelling across digital, editorial, and marketing channels
- Execute fashion direction and styling across assigned categories
- Lead styling, style-outs, fittings, and special projects
- Execute product curation and hero pulls
- Translate trend and performance insights into styling, product, and storytelling opportunities
- Drive coordination across Merchandising, Creative, Marketing, Design, Studio, Production, and Site
- Oversee sample management and product readiness
- Partner with merchants, brands, and vendors to ensure accurate, on-time shoot execution
- Direct editorial execution from trend identification and hero product selection through photoshoot direction and post-launch optimization
- Act as the category fashion authority and ensure a unified, on-brand fashion point of view
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in merchandising, visual design, business management, or related area and 2 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in those areas
- 5+ years in fashion editorial, styling, merchandising, content, or creative production
- Experience leading cross-functional projects, seasonal trend direction, product curation, and photo/video shoots
- Strong fashion POV and editorial eye across Men’s, Kids’ & Baby, and Footwear
- Expertise in styling, curation, and visual storytelling
- Ability to translate trend, cultural, customer, and performance insights into commercial fashion direction
- Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and Microsoft Office skills
- Strategic, data-driven thinking
- Collaborative, agile leadership and confident presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Curiosity, adaptability, and instinct for what’s next
