About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead production efforts for Walmart's internal and external events
- Manage event production from planning through execution
- Partner with suppliers, venues, and cross-functional teams
- Oversee budgets, sourcing, timelines, and best practices
- Plan and execute small and large-scale events
- Coordinate production timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications
- Support on-site event execution
- Oversee staging, audio/visual, lighting, graphics, décor, and attendee experience
- Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvements, and cost efficiencies
- Ensure events are delivered seamlessly and aligned with Walmart's brand standards
- Report to the Director of Production
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Event Management, Hospitality, Theatre Production or related field and 2 years’ experience in communications, project management, event management, or related field OR 4 years’ experience in communications, project management, event management, or relevant area
- 2+ years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, live events, corporate events, or a related field
- Experience planning and executing events with varying levels of size, complexity, and budget
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience coordinating production elements such as staging, A/V, lighting, graphics, or venue logistics
- Creative problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel as needed
