About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end product development across assigned bedding categories, from product briefs and concept development through sampling, costing, testing, approvals, and commercialization
  • Translate consumer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and design direction into scalable, commercially successful products and assortments
  • Establish product specifications, technical requirements, and performance standards
  • Reduce development iterations, improve first-pass approvals, and accelerate speed to market
  • Partner with Design on product aesthetics, materials, finishes, construction, functionality, and customer appeal
  • Manage development timelines
  • Collaborate with Design, Merchants, Sourcing, Quality, Packaging, Site Experience, supplier partners, and other cross-functional teams
  • Ensure on-time execution and consistent product experience from product to packaging and digital presentation
  • Shape bedding assortments combining style, quality, performance, innovation, and value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 2 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area
  • Experience in product development, textiles, sourcing, manufacturing, or a related field, preferably within bedding, home textiles, or soft home
  • Strong knowledge of textile materials, fabric constructions, finishes, product specifications, manufacturing processes, and performance requirements
  • Strong product judgment and design sensibility
  • Ability to evaluate both the aesthetic and technical aspects of a product
  • Customer-first and commercially minded approach
  • Ability to balance innovation, quality, cost, and value
  • Experience partnering with global suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Bentonville, Arkansas work location
  • Required knowledge or experience may include product development, project management, Microsoft Office, data analysis and insights, VBA, SQL, and supervising associates
