About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a portfolio of General Merchandise Asset projects from discovery through testing, deployment, and support
  • Coordinate across business, technical, procurement, and vendor teams
  • Translate business needs into clear project requirements
  • Manage project schedules, risks, budgets, and dependencies
  • Learn and apply knowledge of IoT, sensors, integrations, and related technologies with technical partners
  • Build and improve processes and challenge existing approaches when appropriate
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Create and communicate detailed project plans, schedules, and communication strategies
  • Manage multiple projects or work streams and coordinate resources
  • Monitor budgets and ensure adherence to project methodologies
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve project issues
  • Minimize the impact of changes on timelines and deliverables
  • Mentor and develop team members
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver solutions meeting business and customer needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience in project management, business, operations, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in project management, business, operations, or related area
  • 1 year’s experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience managing multiple medium-scale projects or work streams
  • Strong project planning and schedule management skills
  • Expertise in stakeholder management
  • Ability to develop and execute communication plans
  • Strong skills in scope management, procurement, and budget monitoring
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing associates
  • Excellent presentation and effective communication skills
  • Strategic mindset focused on innovation and business value
  • Preferred: Data analytics and project management systems
  • Preferred: Supervisory experience
  • Preferred: Master’s in Business
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional certification
