About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead inventory planning and supply chain execution to optimize product availability and flow
- Drive sales and inventory performance through supply planning, vendor partnerships, and execution precision
- Align forecasts and inventory flows for new launches, seasonal builds, and promotions
- Lead root cause analysis and recovery plans to resolve out-of-stock issues and improve inventory health metrics
- Manage product flow and inventory distribution for resets, modulars, and promotional windows
- Collaborate cross-functionally to position inventory strategically at the lowest cost while monitoring OTIF delivery
- Develop and mentor the team, set performance standards, and promote continuous improvement
- Support the Camping team’s assortment, vendor partnerships, inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, category growth, and financial performance objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, data analytics, business, or related area and 2 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, engineering, business, data analytics, or related area; or 5 years’ experience in those areas
- Proven expertise in inventory management, replenishment, and supply chain planning
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies
- Experience managing inventory flows, purchase orders, and responding to supply disruptions
- Demonstrated leadership in team development, coaching, and performance management
- Proficiency in utilizing inventory systems to optimize product flow and meet key performance indicators
- Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Preferred: experience in replenishment or inventory management
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
