About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and optimize site merchandising for assigned departments by designing traffic plans, category displays, and product layouts
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive customer behavior through search results and navigation strategies
- Analyze customer insights and market data to recommend site changes and improve performance
- Communicate data-driven recommendations to internal teams and influence decisions
- Manage campaign launches, coordinate resources, and evaluate promotional success
- Utilize web analytics and SEO strategies to enhance site structure and content relevance
- Lead and develop team members while fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Shape the online Sam’s Club member experience to increase engagement and shopping frequency
- Integrate evergreen content with non-promotional campaigns and build site-wide merchandising strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in merchandising, visual design, business management, or related area and 3 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, or related area
- Proven expertise in site merchandising, including site navigation, visual merchandising, and site tools such as Tempo and Tango
- Strong analytical skills with experience in customer analytics, market research, and data-driven decision making
- Effective communication and influencing abilities to present insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience developing and executing category strategies aligned with business objectives
- Ability to manage product launches and promotional campaigns with detailed planning and evaluation
- Proficiency in reporting tools and web analytics
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing team members
- Ability to ensure compliance with company standards
