About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and support a team of associates delivering high-quality operational outcomes
  • Support Walmart’s retail and e-commerce businesses through item setup and maintenance
  • Own the creation, maintenance, and review of SOPs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SOPs with business needs and system changes
  • Conduct periodic SOP reviews, quality audits, performance reviews, and career development planning
  • Identify and eliminate process redundancies through SOP updates and training
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding team performance and process updates
  • Partner with Product, Tech, and Operations teams to resolve complex issues and support initiatives
  • Resolve item-related issues reported by Merchants and Suppliers
  • Provide feedback on applications, products, and system enhancements
  • Manage team schedules, workload balancing, and shift planning
  • Oversee daily item setup and maintenance operations
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, improve turnaround time, and reduce recurring issues
  • Analyze audit findings and implement corrective actions or training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with 8–10 years’ work experience in the Retail/e-Commerce Industry
  • At least 2 years in a people management role
  • Alternatively, bachelor's degree in a listed related area and 3 years’ experience in project/program management, program operations, or related area
  • Alternatively, 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area
  • Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and driving process improvements
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Visio is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and compliance
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and inspire
  • Ability to translate business issues into technical requirements and vice versa
  • Comfortable participating in UAT and providing feedback on system changes or new features
  • Experience documenting technical processes and creating knowledge base articles
  • Familiarity with catalog management systems
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Understanding of version control systems such as Git and basic software development lifecycle concepts
