About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own Marketplace Payment Operations across assigned areas
- Ensure accurate execution, timely seller resolution, and operational performance
- Manage complex payment issues, incidents, and escalations across cross-functional teams and payment partners
- Drive operational excellence through KPIs, SLAs, controls, SOPs, quality, and continuous improvement
- Identify product, tooling, and automation opportunities to improve seller experience and reduce manual operations
- Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery
- Support operational readiness for new payment capabilities and markets
- Coach associates and foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Seller Support, and payment partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a listed related field and 3 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area; OR 5 years’ experience in those areas
- Experience in payments, fintech, financial operations, eCommerce/Marketplace, banking, or related operations
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex, ambiguous, and high-impact issues
- Program management experience leading cross-functional initiatives, milestones, dependencies, and risks
- Ability to translate operational challenges into scalable product, process, tooling, or automation solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using KPIs, trends, and root-cause analysis
- Understanding of operational controls, SOPs, SLAs, quality, and governance
- Stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across technical and business teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience coaching and developing associates
- Strong seller/customer-first mindset
