About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Communicate verbally and/or in writing with customers, suppliers, associates, and other individuals or groups
- Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility
- Achieve facility goals for production, quality, and safety
- Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results
- Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements
- Monitor compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives
- Develop, distribute, and maintain procedures and supporting documentation

- Supervise and manage associates and leaders

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field
- OR 1 year's experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager
- OR 3 years' experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment
- Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers, supervisors, or associates
- Experience managing workload
- Experience participating in hiring and promotion of employees or associates
- Required completion of all job-required trainings and assessments
- Must comply with drug-free workplace and alcohol policy
