About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and deploy production-scale AI/ML solutions across risk intelligence, investigations, document intelligence, anomaly detection, entity resolution, graph analytics, forecasting, optimization, and agentic AI
  • Build end-to-end capabilities spanning data preparation, modeling, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Engineering and Product on architecture, reusable AI services, and build-vs-buy decisions
  • Establish strong evaluation and Responsible AI practices
  • Mentor other data scientists
  • Contribute to technical standards and platform strategy across Global Governance
  • Translate high-value governance and risk problems into scalable AI solutions
  • Develop reusable patterns that improve speed, quality, and measurable business outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years' experience in an analytics-related field; or Master's degree in one of these fields and 3 years' experience; or 7 years' experience in an analytics or related field
  • Strong expertise in machine learning, applied statistics, optimization, and production AI systems
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI and agentic architectures, including RAG, tool use, orchestration, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop workflows
  • Strong technical judgment and programming skills
  • Experience with large-scale data and ML platforms
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical trade-offs clearly
  • Experience in NLP, graph ML, anomaly detection, causal inference, forecasting, or optimization highly valued
  • Preferred: data science, machine learning, optimization models, publications or active peer review
  • Preferred: successful completion of assessments in Python, Spark, Scala, or R
  • Preferred: experience with open-source frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Torch
  • Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
