About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development and execution of complex product strategies and roadmaps for availability-focused platform capabilities
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, architecture, operations, data, and AI
- Identify customer and operational needs across availability and observability platforms
- Communicate roadmaps, strategies, and priorities aligned with business and technology goals
- Build stakeholder relationships across technical and operational functions
- Lead product lifecycle management, including MVP creation, rollout, adoption, and scaling
- Use data, analytics, AI-enabled insights, and KPIs to guide decisions and measure success
- Foster continuous improvement, mentor team members, and promote operational excellence
- Support highly available, resilient platform solutions for Walmart’s technology ecosystem
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management or related experience at a technology and data-driven company focused on building products with new and emerging technologies; or 11 years’ experience at such a company
- Extensive experience in platform product management with a strong focus on product strategy and roadmap development
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams
- Expertise in data-driven decision making using analytics and KPIs
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, software development, and product engineering principles
- Skilled in managing complex product requirements and driving scalable, customer-centric solutions
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams and fostering continuous learning and adaptability
- Preferred: Master’s degree, back-end platform or highly complex B2B/C products experience, quantitative analysis skills including Excel, SQL, or statistics, supervisory experience, and WCAG 2.2 AA/accessibility knowledge
