Deliver platform capabilities across Global Tech, including shared infrastructure, reusable tooling, and scalable ML frameworks across developer productivity tools
Align engineering efforts with roadmap milestones and domain strategies
Apply cloud-native architecture principles and distributed system design best practices
Lead platform engineering initiatives delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions and AI-enhanced applications
Drive the full software development lifecycle
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to shape web platform vision and architecture
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications with frontend and backend integration
Conduct root cause analysis, identify performance bottlenecks, and uncover improvement opportunities
Engage with engineering teams across geographies to share knowledge and contribute to the broader tech community
Mentor engineering teams and foster engineering excellence through collaboration

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; or 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
14+ years of experience with strong expertise in modern application development using AI
Expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic and RAG frameworks
Deep proficiency in Java, J2EE, and Spring Framework
Strong knowledge of JVM internals, including concurrency and multi-threading
Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture and hands-on experience building RESTful web services
Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and database concepts
Expertise in SQL and relational databases such as Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, and BigQuery
Experience with distributed systems and technologies such as Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Python is highly desirable
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS, React Native, Redux, Webpack, and Node.js
Experience building responsive, user-friendly interfaces with AJAX and modern frontend tooling
Hands-on experience with cloud development and deploying applications in cloud environments
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, log aggregation, monitoring, and alerting for production systems
Proven ability to build scalable, highly available distributed systems in production environments
