Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead platform engineering efforts delivering scalable infrastructure, reusable tooling, and AI/ML frameworks aligned with strategic roadmaps
  • Drive the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance across multiple teams
  • Architect cloud-native, distributed systems with high availability, fault tolerance, and real-time data processing capabilities
  • Integrate AI agents and intelligent applications using modern programming languages and model-driven design techniques
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship and influence architectural standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable success metrics
  • Champion continuous improvement by adopting new technologies and enhancing engineering processes and tools
  • Design, implement, and test code changes for specialized business needs
  • Monitor and resolve production issues
  • Promote technical excellence, problem-solving, innovation, accountability, and operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; or 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Extensive experience in platform engineering leadership
  • Experience delivering scalable, cloud-native architectures and reusable tooling
  • Experience leading full software development lifecycles, including CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and incident response
  • Expertise in distributed systems optimized for real-time data processing and AI/ML integration
  • Strong skills in technical solution design, debugging, and requirements analysis
  • Proficiency with AI agents and model-driven design
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices (preferred)
