Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and direct large-scale, complex cross-functional engineering projects
Translate requirements into technical solutions and oversee design and code reviews
Manage and mentor engineering teams, including offshore associates
Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations
Drive root cause analysis for critical issues and implement reliability improvements
Collaborate with business partners to identify priorities and develop project plans
Ensure timely delivery of software solutions
Lead discovery phases and develop high-level designs, prototypes, and proof of concepts
Promote continuous improvement through new technologies, team learning, and adaptability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Extensive experience leading large-scale, cross-functional engineering projects
Experience translating complex requirements into scalable software architectures and design artifacts
Strong expertise in cloud computing architecture, cloud-native solutions, and platform design and development
Proficiency in model-driven design and engineering design processes
Experience mentoring and developing engineering teams, including offshore associates
Skills in root cause analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to collaborate with business partners to align technical solutions with strategic objectives
