About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead AOP and LRP planning, financial governance, and portfolio prioritization
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, finance, and technology teams
  • Manage key stakeholders and establish effective operating cadences
  • Develop and scale FinOps processes, including chargeback/showback, forecasting, efficiency tracking, unit costing, and Product TCO
  • Drive cloud cost optimization and identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency
  • Partner with data teams to develop scorecards, reporting, and actionable insights across CapEx, OpEx, and labor
  • Establish and track OKRs to measure portfolio performance and business outcomes
  • Prepare leadership reporting, MBRs, and portfolio updates
  • Manage intake, prioritization, and execution across the portfolio
  • Communicate portfolio performance, risks, accomplishments, investment opportunities, and business value
  • Help GTP assess cloud growth and investment opportunities, drive EDLC in technology, connect costs to business values and goals, and advance FinOps governance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area; OR 8 years’ experience in these areas
  • Experience leading FinOps, financial planning, or technology portfolio management initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of AOP/LRP planning, financial governance, forecasting, and cost optimization
  • Experience establishing scalable financial and operational processes
  • Ability to partner across product, engineering, finance, technology, and data teams
  • Experience developing scorecards, reporting, and insights across CapEx, OpEx, and labor
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Experience establishing operating cadences, tracking OKRs, and preparing leadership and MBR reporting
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, assess risks, and communicate business value to senior stakeholders
  • Certification in Project Management (preferred)
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 4 years’ experience in product design (preferred)
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices (preferred)
