Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage large-scale technical programs
  • Define goals, timelines, and key deliverables across multiple teams and dependencies
  • Drive end-to-end technology solutions with engineering teams
  • Collaborate on system design, architecture, and operational excellence
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues to maintain progress and quality
  • Establish and improve scalable workflows, prioritization frameworks, and communication strategies
  • Align stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Mentor team members on program management best practices and technical design
  • Analyze data to inform decisions and optimize processes
  • Promote continuous improvement across initiatives
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Business teams on Walmart Marketplace technology initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area; OR 8 years’ experience in those areas
  • Extensive experience in program and project management, including risk and stakeholder management across complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Proven ability to define and execute end-to-end technology solutions
  • Strong technical design knowledge in software, hardware, and cloud infrastructure
  • Expertise translating product requirements into scalable system architectures
  • Knowledge of high availability and operational excellence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Effective communication skills to align stakeholders and drive consensus
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams and improving workflows
  • Certification in Project Management is preferred
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration and product design experience are preferred
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices is preferred
