About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members
  • Handle escalations and collaborate with store leadership
  • Motivate teams to meet project timelines and deliverables
  • Encourage collaboration and teamwork among associates
  • Resolve store leadership, supplier, and associate concerns
  • Own project execution in assigned stores
  • Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders
  • Understand project plans and minimize impact on store operations
  • Supervise and develop team members
  • Evaluate talent, train and mentor associates
  • Provide recognition and identify career paths
  • Hire and train associates; assign duties
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Support company mission, values, ethics, and integrity through related action plans
  • Implement business solutions by building stakeholder relationships and partnerships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 1 year's experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years' experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area
  • Knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design
  • Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams
  • Primarily working overnights; night shifts average from 10 to 12 hours
  • Frequent travel up to 1000 miles from home
  • Expect to be away from home 80% of the time, or for 17-21 days at a time
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments
  • Project Management - Management Professional Certification is preferred
  • Master's degree in Business or related field is preferred
  • 1 year's experience leading cross-functional teams is preferred
