About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members
- Handle escalations and collaborate with store leadership
- Motivate teams to meet project timelines and deliverables
- Resolve store leadership, supplier, and associate concerns
- Own project execution in assigned stores
- Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders
- Understand project plans and minimize impact on store operations
- Supervise and develop team members
- Evaluate talent, train, mentor, recognize, and identify career paths for associates
- Hire and train associates, assign duties, and provide supervision and development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, ethics, and integrity standards
- Build stakeholder relationships and partnerships
- Identify business needs, implement processes and practices, monitor progress and results, and capitalize on improvement opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 1 year's experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years' experience in those areas
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design
- Experience with leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments
- Frequent travel up to 1000 miles from home and being away from home 80% of the time or for 17–21 days at a time
- Primarily able to work overnight shifts averaging 10–12 hours
