About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement and improve supply chain and replenishment processes with cross-functional teams
- Analyze stakeholder data to identify root causes of shipping, receiving, inventory, and return issues
- Drive network efficiency improvements
- Support distribution centers, merchandising, and suppliers through performance reviews and operational guidance
- Lead supply chain flow process enhancements
- Prioritize product flow objectives and manage error correction and feedback loops
- Provide expert advice on cost reduction opportunities using lean methodologies and end-to-end costing
- Build partnerships to monitor progress, address business needs, and adapt to organizational changes
- Collaborate across Walmart’s Private Fleet and third-party transportation networks to improve carrier performance, service reliability, and network efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area
- Proven expertise in supply chain management and analysis
- Strong understanding of replenishment and distribution processes
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and sustainable supply chain solutions
- Skilled in root cause analysis and resolving escalated operational issues related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns
- Ability to manage workflow and prioritize product flow plans
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with suppliers, transporters, and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of lean concepts and end-to-end costing methodologies
- Commitment to company policies, ethics, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Microsoft Office, retail operations, and transportation are preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred
