About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze transportation and supply chain data to identify service risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and drive execution excellence
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop actionable recommendations to improve performance
  • Monitor key metrics and create reporting supporting operational and strategic decision-making
  • Identify and implement process improvements enhancing service, efficiency, and network performance
  • Provide data-driven insights supporting carrier and supplier performance across Walmart’s transportation network
  • Collaborate with Carrier Performance, Carrier Procurement, Supplier Performance, and Supplier Operations teams
  • Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement across the transportation network

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area
  • Experience in transportation, supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related analytical field
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Ability to identify trends, determine root causes, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Problem-solving mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, influence stakeholders, and drive results
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proactive approach to ownership, innovation, and driving positive change
  • Preferred: Microsoft Office, Retail Operations, Transportation
  • Preferred: Master’s in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain
