About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and evaluate data sources aligned with business requirements and quality standards
- Perform data quality assessments and lead cleansing activities
- Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced analytical methods and tools
- Develop and deliver data visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals
- Apply statistical techniques and exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and actionable insights
- Mentor junior analysts and promote adherence to data governance and quality frameworks
- Support business decision-making and strategy development
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold data governance, integrity, and professionalism standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field; or
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; or
- 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
- Extensive experience in data analysis, data science, and statistical methods
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and Cosmos DB
- Experience with Matplotlib and Tableau
- Strong knowledge of data quality management, including profiling, cleansing, and monitoring
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into data-driven solutions
- Familiarity with big data technologies, data architecture, and machine learning applications
- Effective communication skills to present findings and influence stakeholders
